About us
What is SUSA?
We are a multi-cultural, international Soccer-Community in Vienna, comprising of Camps during the school holidays (Easter-Summer-Autumn) for kids between 5 and 14 years old.
A Kids-Academy (4-13 years old), which runs after-school or on Saturday mornings during the school year. And a competitive League Setup (under 10-11-12-13-14-15-16-18 & Adults team) registered in and recognised by the Austrian Football Federation, UEFA & FIFA.
Our aim is to improve each of our player’s skills in an appropriate environment according to their respective level and goals, applying the most up-to-date methods of sport science and neuroscience.
We not only aim to develop their specific soccer skills, but also the mental and emotional aspects crucial for their daily lives and futures. We also individually coach high performance athletes and private customers, who want to profit from our unique methods and knowledge base.
Therefore our holistic teaching approach is based on these 4 development principles:
Mental
Positive attitude is the key to success & happiness. SUSA players learn the importance of mental strength, dedication and determination. Our trainings require a high level of concentration with academic benefits and stress reduction among others.
Physical
Our experienced coaching team takes care of the players' age-specific physical needs. Proper development of agility, speed and explosiveness are crucial. Injury prevention is a top priority in our training.
Emotional
Emotional development is one of the highest priorities. Praise is key for neurofunctionality and confidence. Mistakes are seen as important steps in the learning process, leading to good self-esteem and strong character development.
Cognitive
Our exercises promote motor skills such as orientation, coordination, reaction, and decision making. Neuroplasticity effects are enormous and support long-term athletic and academic success.

SUSA Social Fund & Charity
SUSA wants to help make every child’s soccer dream a reality and encourage their passion and positive energy! For many years we have been supporting families in the community who have social disadvantages and also those affected by wars, by offering reduced fees in accordance with individual circumstances.
The SUSA Social Fund was set up to subsidize these costs and to support additional needs of our club FC SUSA Vienna — including equipment, kits, new footballs, coach education and development of our adult team. We rely on your help to continue serving our community and maintaining a sustainable club.
Our main sponsor is freiraum-europa, a non-profit organisation committed to breaking social and structural barriers for children, people with disabilities, and those recovering from illness or injury. Their contributions help fund therapies, aids and caregivers where state funding falls short.
Thanks to their generous donation, 19 children can now play football with SUSA at reduced cost.
